Endurance riding is a long-distance sport that tests the fitness and stamina of the horse, as well as the rider’s horsemanship skills. Interested in learning more and finding out how you can get involved?
Join the Endurance Riders of Alberta at VTAS Indoor Arena for an introductory endurance clinic this February! Riders are invited to a half-day clinic where you will:
- Learn about what endurance riding is
- See a veterinarian demonstrate how they check a horse’s endurance
- Practice working with a stethoscope
- Ask any questions you have throughout the clinic

Location: VTAS Indoor Arena (5004 52 Avenue, Waskatenau, Alberta)
Arrival Time: 12:45pm
Start Time: 1:00pm
End Time: 4:00pm
Cost: FREE
Each youth participant will receive endurance goodies to take home. Adults are also welcome to attend but will not receive goodies.
Additionally, light snacks will be provided for everyone during the clinic!
