The Victoria Trail Agricultural Society is proud to present VTAS Fair Days in Waskatenau from August 7 – 9, 2026, to bring our local communities together for:

Wife Carrying Contest
Get ready for an entertaining, unforgettable wife carrying contest! Teams of two will race through a fun obstacle course in a test of strength, balance and teamwork. The champions will walk away with two flats of beer!
Date: Saturday, August 8
Time: 10:30am – Registration | 11:00am – Event starts
Location: VTAS Indoor Arena
Entry fee: Free event (must be 18 years or older to be eligible to participate)
Rules:
- Participants must be 18 years or older
- Teams consist of two people (carrier and passenger)
- Passenger must be carried through a fun, timed obstacle course
- Teams must complete all obstacles
- Dropping the passenger results in a time penalty
“What’s the Price” game show
Join us for a fun and entertaining “What’s the Price” game show (country style!). Contestants will compete by guessing the prices of items to win cash and prizes.
