Great news – VTAS Youth Games are back, with our next event being held during VTAS Fair Days in Waskatenau.
During this one-day competition, young riders will complete poles, barrels, a team relay and a mystery event for the chance to win belt buckles and silver necklaces. And of course, showcase their skills!

Location: VTAS Indoor Arena, Waskatenau
Start time: 11:00am
Please note, the riding arena will be open from 10:00am to warm up and practice.
Divisions
Divisions include:
- Peewee (<8)
- Ages 9 – 13
- Ages 14 – 18
Belt buckles and silver necklaces are up for grabs in each division. Participants will accumulate points for each event and placement, and those with the most points will be named the winners.
Registration
All participants must register in advance, as no drop-ins will be accommodated. Registration fees are as follows:
- Peewee (<8) = $40
- Ages 9 – 13 = $45
- Ages 14 – 18 = $50
To register, call or text Emilee at 780-656-0661 and e-transfer your registration fee to plaz@telusplanet.net with the participant name and division included in the e-transfer description.
Waiver form
A waiver form must be signed for all participants competing in the VTAS Youth Games:
- 17 years of age and under (must be signed by a witness)
- 18 years of age and over (must be signed by a witness)
Please bring your signed waiver form to the event and give it to Emilee.
