“What’s the Price” game show
Join us for a fun and entertaining “What’s the Price” game show (country style!). Contestants will compete by guessing the prices of items to win cash and prizes.
Date: Saturday, August 10
Time: 7:00pm – Doors open | 8:00pm – Game starts

Entry fee: Free family event (must be 14 years or older to be eligible to participate)

Open barrel jackpot
Barrel riders at various age levels will compete for cash prizes.
Date: Sunday, August 11
Time: 1:00pm – Arena opens | 2:00pm – Event starts
Location: VTAS Indoor Arena
Entry fee: Open = $40 | Youth = $30 | Pee Wee = $20
Additional event details: 3D format, 1 second split, early entries only, no hold backs, added money, Western attire recommended, safe yet shallow ground

Pig scramble
Have you ever tried to catch a pig for cash prizes? Now’s your chance!
Date: Saturday, August 10
Time: 1:00pm – Registration | 1:30pm – Event starts
Location: VTAS Indoor Arena
Entry fee: Free
Age Categories:
- 6 and under – mark 1 pig
- 7-9 year olds – catch 2 pigs
- 10-13 year olds – catch 3 pigs
- 14-17 year olds – catch 4 pigs
Rules:
- For ages 6 and under, children will get a marker and be timed on how fast they can mark 1 pig.
- For all other age groups, children will work in teams of 2 to catch the amount of pigs assigned to their age category (see above). Teams must catch the correct number of pigs and put them in a pen.
- There will be a gateman to operate the pen gate for each team.
- Cash prizes will be awarded to teams with the fastest time in each age category.
Prizes:
6 and under prizes:
- 1st place – $15
- 2nd place – $10
- 3rd place – $5
Prizes for all other age categories:
- 1st place – $60
- 2nd place – $40
- 3rd place – $20
Slow pitch tournament
Let’s play ball! Join us for a 3-day slow pitch tournament in the heart of Waskatenau.

Parade
We’re always proud of our annual parade. With local floats, lots of candy and a great crowd, it’s an event you won’t want to miss!
